About The Position

The Data Systems Technical Analyst at DCS Corp is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of airborne and ground data systems. This role involves working with data and video collection systems, providing technical support and training, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. The analyst will also contribute to process improvement initiatives and maintain documentation related to system operations.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
  • High School diploma plus 10 years of experience.
  • Must possess a current security clearance and maintain one for the duration of employment.
  • Experience in administration, management, and development of information technology, network, airborne data acquisition, and computing systems.
  • Open-mindedness, teachability, high motivation, and team-orientation.
  • Ability to perform, manage, and prioritize multiple related tasks in a highly-dynamic and time-sensitive environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Training or experience with airborne and ground instrumentation systems, video and data recording/telemetry, MIL-STD-1553, and related data-bus and digital recorders.
  • Prior experience in handling COMSEC assets.
  • Practical knowledge of system administration, systems security, network and computer operation support, including familiarity with DoD-approved operating systems, network connectivity, and data warehousing/mining.

Responsibilities

  • Perform or support the design, development, implementation, integration, testing, deployment, operation, optimization, administration, troubleshooting and/or maintenance of airborne and ground data systems.
  • Generate documentation and drawings related to the operation and maintenance of data systems in accordance with Task Team Operating Procedures.
  • Provide training and technical support for data systems to team members.
  • Function as a liaison to other stakeholder entities as appropriate.
  • Provide summaries of activities in the Monthly Progress / Status Report.
  • Interface with all levels of NAVAIR / NAWCWD organizations and stakeholder entities to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Participate in meetings with contractor and government personnel to resolve scheduling, planning, maintenance, and other technical issues.
  • Contribute to organizational process improvement activities and task team internal reviews.
  • Initiate own professional development and maintain an up-to-date understanding of technical project requirements and organizational processes.
