Responsibilities
- Build, experiment, refine, and achieve real impact from models
- Deploy models at scale and speed
- Collaborate with engineering colleagues to enable model deployment

- Process big data and utilize cloud computing

- Understand the practical issues of using algorithms on large datasets
- Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, mathematicians, computer scientists, physicists, economists, and social scientists
- Have a strong aptitude for mathematics
- Competent in data science languages and tools such as Python or Apache Spark
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Analytics, or Data Science
- 7+ years of experience in the Ad Tech industry working in Data Science teams
Requirements
- Aptitude with mathematics and competent ability with data science languages and tools (such as Python or Apache Spark)
- Passion for investigating and learning from data, asking interesting and provocative questions, and putting real models into production
- Basics of big data processing and cloud computing
- Open to diverse academic backgrounds, including engineers, mathematicians, computer scientists, physicists, economists, and social scientists
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Analytics, or Data Science)
- 7+ years of experience in the Ad Tech industry working in Data Science teams, applying algorithms and techniques from Machine Learning, Statistics, Time Series, or other domains to solve real-world problems on large datasets
- Comfortable with software engineering practices and working in a collaborative environment
