About The Position
The Data Management Coordinator (DMC) is responsible for all aspects of NASA's Aircraft Management Information System (NAMIS) administration and ensuring compliance with NAMIS requirements and inputs/outputs. The DMC will administer the NAMIS maintenance system and maintain aircraft logs and records in accordance with NPR 7900.3 and AOD 34100. This role involves coordinating Contractor personnel access permissions and assigned roles, creating templates for assigned assets, and establishing inspection baseline information including NASA approved deviations. The DMC will collaborate with other staff members involved with executing information and data management systems and functions, requiring a high level of communication, coordination, analytical, and technical skills. Familiarity with the NAMIS system or military/industry maintenance tracking equivalent is essential. The Data Management Coordinator may also be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
