About The Position

Icon Media Direct is seeking a talented Data Management Analyst to manage the movement of data into and out of the organization's systems. This role ensures the integrity, security, and usability of data assets to support effective marketing campaigns and strategic decision-making. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize data processes, maintain data quality standards, implement governance policies, and troubleshoot issues, all while supporting the organization's data-driven initiatives and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience with Data Integration and Migration, Data Governance and Compliance, Reporting and Analysis.
  • Proven experience in data management or related roles, preferably in the marketing or advertising industry.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, especially Excel with advanced formulas and pivot tables.
  • High proficiency in Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).
  • Proficiency in SQL & data management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake, AWS).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) and statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python).
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or related credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with users to obtain data requirements for new and existing applications.
  • Receive, inspect, validate, cleanse, transform, and load data from various formats and sources.
  • Work with vendors and clients to correct problems with data and/or files.
  • Manage data collection, organization, and access to support productivity and decision-making.
  • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks for data usage and compliance.
  • Maintain client confidence by keeping data confidential according to privacy guidelines.
  • Establish and enforce data quality standards for accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Perform data validation and cleansing procedures to rectify discrepancies.
  • Identify and correct erroneous or anomalous data to restore dataset reliability.
  • Proactively address issues and provide timely communication throughout the resolution process.
  • Develop and recommend process improvements for data management tasks.
