About The Position

At Definitive Healthcare, our passion is to transform data, analytics and expertise into healthcare commercial intelligence. We help clients uncover the right markets, opportunities and people, so they can shape tomorrow's healthcare industry. Our SaaS platform creates new paths to commercial success in the healthcare market, so companies can identify where to go next. As a summer intern at Definitive Healthcare, you will work on integral projects focused on assessing and improving the quality of our healthcare organization and provider data. This ~10 week program will take place between June and August, and allow individuals to learn more about the healthcare market. You will also gain tangible skills in research, data entry, and time management.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience as a college student, specifically for rising juniors and seniors
• Exceptional attention to detail and a desire to look for and solve problems
• An interest in learning about data and data analytics
• Skills in data entry and typing

Nice To Haves

• Excel and internet research experience

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter changes and updates into our database using Webforms or Microsoft Access
• Assist in ensuring data quality and consistency by conducting regular data exercises
• Flex your analytical muscles, by cross referencing data sets to look for duplication and/or errors
• Conduct phone and web-based research to complete both short and long-term projects
