About the position
We are seeking a Data & Intelligence Manager with expertise in Data & Analytics for Customer Experience. This role will be responsible for leading a team focused on Data Integrations, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence for Customer Experience. The successful candidate will collaborate with Asana's business teams to understand their objectives and provide the necessary data and technical support to achieve their goals. This position is based in the San Francisco office with a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with CX teams to improve renewal rates for Asana
- Use multiple sources of information to develop data solutions and recommendations
- Build and maintain a robust data warehouse and deliver reports for business insights
- Coach team members and encourage their personal development
- Deliver programs and projects at the speed of business
- Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet team/stakeholder expectations
- Demonstrate measurable results and evangelize best practices
- Build, sustain, and lead a great team
- Have in-depth experience with SalesForce, Gainsight, and other CX applications
- Define and deliver scalable technical solution architecture and integrated solutions
- Work with Business Architects and/or Business Analysts to translate customer requirements into data products
- Understand integrations with third-party systems through various integration patterns
- Manage and communicate with development teams
- Produce deliverables in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Successfully manage high-performing teams
- Have extensive hands-on experience in data integration and analytics design and development
- Have SQL development experience, preferably with MPP platforms such as Snowflake.
Requirements
- In-depth experience with SalesForce, Gainsight, and other CX applications, including integration, security, administration, and core features.
- Proven ability to define and deliver scalable technical solution architecture and integrated solutions involving various applications and middleware products (Mulesoft, Boomi, Snaplogic, etc), while ensuring quality and meeting project schedules.
- Strong track record of working with Business Architects and/or Business Analysts to translate customer requirements into data products within an agile delivery model.
- Comprehensive understanding of integrations with third-party systems through various integration patterns with SalesForce and other applications.
- Excellent skills in managing and communicating with development teams, focusing on designing and implementing solutions that adhere to industry-leading practices and code quality techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to produce deliverables in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, effectively collaborating across teams, and managing multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.
- Over 5+ years of experience in successfully managing high-performing teams, along with extensive hands-on experience (5+ years) in data integration and analytics design and development, utilizing data integration and automation platforms, preferably with a track record of delivering actionable insights.
- 5+ years SQL development experience preferable with MPP platforms such as Snowflake.
