Data Engineer - Video Processing and AI/ML Specialist - MX

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer with expertise in AWS EMR & Python OR Spark & Java, specializing in video processing and possessing a deep understanding of AI/ML techniques. The role involves ingesting and processing vast volumes of video data, leveraging advanced image/video recognition technologies, and creating custom models to optimize advertising opportunities. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing solutions that enable our clients to unlock the untapped potential of their video data. This position requires experience in setting up a full end-to-end data pipeline and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate video processing capabilities into data solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows for ingesting, processing, and analyzing large-scale video data using AWS EMR & Python OR Spark & Java
• Utilize advanced image/video recognition techniques to extract relevant information from video content, going beyond out-of-the-box AI solutions
• Create and deploy custom AI/ML models to identify and classify specific elements, objects, or events within videos, aligning with advertising opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and software engineers, to integrate video processing capabilities into end-to-end data solutions
• Optimize and scale video processing workflows to handle large volumes of data, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and high-performance processing
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in video processing, AI/ML, and relevant technologies, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our capabilities
• Strong experience in AWS EMR & Python OR Spark & Java data engineering and processing tasks at scale
