The Data and Business Insights Analyst will play a vital role to ensure Boston Scientific's digital and product marketing analysis and data needs are met at Boston Scientific. They will help the business and marketing teams connect deeper with our patients and health care providers. They will help connect the business and marketing teams with our patients and healthcare providers, leveraging their expertise to understand the need for change and the value it will bring. By partnering with data analysts and engineers, they will design solutions that meet business needs and deliver impactful data products and insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on data or digital products. Alternatively, 7 or more years of experience in a Business Analyst role may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Google Analytics, or database tools).
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in identifying and communicating the value that features provide to the business and end-users.
• Experience in the medical device industry and familiarity with HIPAA, Covered Entity, and Privacy and Security Requirements.
• Experience with digital marketing campaigns, and familiarity with tools such as Salesforce and Marketing Cloud.
• Experience with AI and machine learning-driven projects.
• Proficiency with process mapping tools (e.g., Miro, Visio) and methodologies.
• Experience with Snowflake, Marketing Cloud, BigQuery, DBT, and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the latest process and product advancements to automate and modernize data systems.
• Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders to identify key questions, opportunities, and value, while collaborating with teams such as marketing, product managers, data engineers, analysts, and data scientists to translate these into clear requirements and deliver impactful data products and insights.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of complex business processes to identify current state.
• Create detailed process maps, diagrams, and flowcharts to illustrate current and proposed workflows.
• Recommend improvements to business processes to eliminate inefficiencies and optimize for accuracy, timeliness, and performance.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for implementation, creating stories that meet customer and business needs, and are understandable and executable by the technical team.
• Support the QA team by assisting with testing, validating reports, data, and other items based on acceptance criteria.
• Assess the potential value of features for the business and customers. Collaborate with business partners to use historical data, forecasted performance, and other metrics to quantify value.
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects, ensuring critical needs are addressed promptly.
• Research business logic and data sources by interacting with data via SQL.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices related to data, digital products, and AI processes, integrating these insights into solution discussions with technical teams.
