About the position
Quisitive, a global Microsoft partner specializing in Microsoft platform and complementary technologies, is seeking a D365 Technical Architect with a focus on Supply Chain. This role involves developing and implementing D365 supply chain solutions, leading project teams, providing technical expertise and support, engaging in pre-sales activities, and demonstrating proficiency in practice technology. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement D365 supply chain solutions for customers utilizing approved methodology(s)
- Execute tasks related to customer solution delivery and the software development lifecycle
- Lead the development resources of a project team for new implementations and major upgrades, as well as small enhancements and some customer support
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert and supports all company activities including but not limited to system implementations, integrations, and process consultations
- May be requested to train, guide and coach developers and to participate in knowledge sharing activities
- Engage in pre-sales activities, participate in team building and cultivate team and customer relationships
- Provide technical guidance/oversight on one or more projects
- Demonstrate proficiency in practice technology, in particular providing support and expertise on development, deployment and infrastructure technologies
- Understand business processes and relates knowledge to product functionality. May occasionally collect functional requirements and produce functional design documents
- Identify and design application topologies, customizations, workarounds, or enhancements for technical solutions to meet customer needs.
- Provide input to process adjustments where required
- Assist in ensuring that the collaboration prerequisites required as part of the development lifecycle are met, including tools for tracking of design, estimation, development and testing progress
- Provides input to review and quality assure technical designs. Develops technical designs, also in relation to enhancements and integration designs
- Review development estimation break down structure. Perform development estimations utilizing an advanced estimation sheet provided.
- Plan and execute technical design and development kick-off sessions
- Quality assurance, not limited to code reviews, ensuring conformance with established standards
- Provide updates on development progress
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or MIS
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- 5+ years of D365 development experience, including 2 years of experience with the latest version
- At least 3 full-cycle implementations
- Proficient experience with D365 development environments and support tools
- Experience managing large development projects (1,000+ hours) with on/offshore resources
- Proficient in C#/.NET
- Ability to successfully handle work streams
