Requirements

• Experience using databases, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Screen and report negative gynecological and non-gynecological cytology cases.
• Identify and refer abnormal cases to pathologists.
• Conduct quality control activities.
• Train and evaluate cytotechnology students.
• Perform digital image analysis, FISH techniques, and tissue review.
• Serve as a member of the Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) Team for on-site adequacy evaluation of FNA procedures.
• Provide technical advice and coverage in the preparation and processing area.
• Assist cytology specialists and management with data gathering for quality assurance and special projects.
