About the position
The job overview for this role is to manage a large portfolio of Emerging customers, ensuring a great customer experience and reducing risk while increasing opportunities. The successful candidate will have experience in a customer-facing role with a financial target, and will be commercially capable with an operational mindset. They will also have the ability to prioritize their time and work cross-functionally with other teams. This role is ideal for individuals with previous Sales or Customer Success experience, particularly in technology, finance, or SaaS.
Responsibilities
- Manage a large portfolio of Emerging customers
- Become the internal cheerleader for customers with completing onboarding milestones
- Learn how to use the GoCardless product and optimize onboarding, use case expansion, and show its value
- Use data to identify and take action on risk and opportunities in the portfolio
- Learn and use systems and tools such as Zendesk and ChurnZero
- Seek to improve processes and the customer experience through feedback and data-driven problem solving
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to identify and capture customer stories leading to referrals, testimonials, and case studies
- Have 2+ years of experience working in a customer-facing role with a financial target
- Have a passion for great customer experience
- Deliver a brilliant journey for customers to reduce risk and increase opportunity in the portfolio
- Be commercially capable
- Have an operational mindset, seeking to constantly improve effectiveness and efficiency
- Have experience prioritizing time, especially between multiple important and urgent issues
- Love working cross-functionally and partnering with other teams on projects
- Have drive and ambition to meet both customer and company goals
- Have previous Sales or Customer Success experience, particularly in technology, finance, or SaaS
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working in a customer-facing role with a financial target
