About the position
As a Customer Success Engineer at Beekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our customers by planning, designing, and launching their technical implementation of Beekeeper. With your technical expertise and product knowledge, you will work closely with customers to overcome challenges and provide meaningful solutions. You will manage multiple customer projects, collaborate with various teams, and act as a liaison between customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate has a strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical implementations while training and inspiring customers on Beekeeper capabilities
- Manage the technical rollout of a customer during their onboarding phase involving setting clear timelines, communicating roles and responsibilities with the project team, advising on and finalizing app structure, and testing the final setup with the customer
- Install and configure Marketplace apps, including the various user management apps
- Conduct discovery of customer requirements and develop a technical implementation plan
- Build and maintain technical solutions that support customer solutions
- Be the voice of the customer and act as a liaison between customers, customer success team, product and engineering teams on product enhancements
- Support pre-sales and post sales by consulting with technical solutions
- Actively seek out continuous improvement in solution implementation and delivery
- Contribute and build technical knowledge within the customer success team by providing training for new tooling, processes or product-specific procedures
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of previous technical development and sales engineering experience, ideally from a software/SaaS environment
- Deep understanding of technologies around integration, such as SSO (especially SAML2.0), system synchronization (especially SFTP & batch workloads), and APIs (especially REST & JSON)
- Consistently implement best practices in aligning different systems and architectures to work well together
- Development experience in Python
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts using non-technical language
- Experience working in a scrum environment and delivering quality projects within the timeframe
- Curious and learning attitude, with a strong bias towards action and results
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a STEM-related field preferred (not required)
- Professional proficiency in German required
