About the position
Customer Service Representatives play a crucial role in assisting customers and resolving their issues through various communication channels. They are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, collaborating with internal teams, and improving the overall customer experience. This role offers growth opportunities within the Customer Service department and requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a positive attitude. Previous experience in customer service or a contact center is preferred, and knowledge of e-commerce is a plus. The base hourly range for this position is $16.50 per hour, with potential benefits and bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Resolve customer questions and achieve customer satisfaction through email, chat, and phone communication.
- Take ownership of individual customer queries and collaborate with internal teams to ensure positive outcomes.
- Handle multiple chat and email cases simultaneously while meeting performance metrics.
- Manage the customer experience throughout the order fulfillment process.
- Meet quality standards and service response time objectives across all contact channels to ensure strong customer satisfaction.
- Maintain consistency, high quality, and operational excellence across Customer Service and StockX by balancing company policies and procedures with customer benefits.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and policies that enhance the customer experience.
- Fulfill additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by leadership to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Have 1-2 years of experience in Customer Service or related fields.
- Be proficient in phone, chat, and email queues in a contact center environment.
- Have e-commerce experience (nice to have).
- Be able to work flexible schedules to support business priorities.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and sense of urgency.
- Work well in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Possess problem-solving skills, make independent decisions, and take ownership of outcomes.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess industry background knowledge and experience (nice to have).
- Compensation is dependent on geography and may vary.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years of experience in Customer Service or related fields
- 1-2 years of experience in a Contact center, proficient in phone, chat and email queues
- E-commerce experience is nice to have
- Ability to work flexible schedules to support business priorities, as needed
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude are a must
- Sense of urgency to perform tasks to timelines
- Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment, with a strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Confident in problem solving, making independent decisions and owning the outcomes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
