About The Position

The Customer Service Representative role at Trulite involves providing exceptional customer service support through various communication channels, including telephone, fax, and email. The representative will be responsible for obtaining, analyzing, and verifying order information to maintain high customer satisfaction. The position requires collaboration with other departments to ensure orders meet customer expectations and involves data entry and follow-up communication with customers.

Requirements

  • Associates degree with 0-2 years of related glass and aluminum work experience preferred.
  • Proven work experience in customer service.
  • Prior professional office setting experience required.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, fractions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Prior data entry experience.
  • Manufacturing background preferred.
  • Must be able to multi-task, be organized, efficient, and accurate.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal, conflict management, and time management skills.
  • Strong listening skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service support by telephone, fax, or email.
  • Obtain, analyze, and verify the accuracy of order information.
  • Initiate and implement corrective actions to maintain service standards.
  • Identify and contribute to potential sales leads.
  • Plan and develop target markets and service packages.
  • Answer customer service calls within the first three rings.
  • Process and verify the accuracy of customer orders.
  • Maintain order/customer information files.
  • Assist in proofreading entered orders.
  • Collaborate with scheduling/production departments.
  • Handle or refer complaints to appropriate departments.
  • Conduct follow-up calls within 3 hours.
  • Prepare price quotations for items not in the price book.
  • Work with other branch/regional locations to resolve problems.
  • Answer technical questions regarding products and services.
  • Modify quote status post-order placement.
  • Attend regular customer service department meetings.
  • Support continuous improvement programs and training courses.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
