About The Position

The Service Department seeks a Full Time Customer Service Representative to join our team at the Dresden, TN Plant. This position involves fostering a positive attitude and image for Champion to retailers and homebuyers, answering incoming phone calls and e-mail inquiries promptly, thoroughly, courteously and accurately, and interfacing between homeowners, retailers and Champion to resolve warranty issues. The representative will write accurate service orders and parts orders for contractors and technicians to complete warranty work, take ownership of specific individual duties as assigned by supervisors, and manage warranty work using proprietary software.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Calm and patient demeanor when working with retailers and homeowners.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 Years Experience in Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Be an asset to our retailers and homeowners, find ways to say 'yes' rather than 'No'.
• Answer incoming phone calls and e-mail inquiries promptly, thoroughly, courteously and accurately.
• Interface between homeowners, retailers and Champion to resolve warranty issues.
• Write accurate service orders and parts orders for contractors and technicians to complete warranty work.
• Take ownership of specific individual duties as assigned by supervisors.
• Comfortable multitasking.
• Manage warranty work using proprietary software.
• Assist in maintaining database of homeowners and open work orders.
