About The Position

The Customer Service Representative is an entry-level role focused on providing exceptional customer service to Bank customers. This part-time position involves handling cash transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and service practices.

Requirements

• Customer service-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic mathematical and cash handling skills.
• Basic keyboard navigation ability.
• Understanding of banking compliance regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook and Word) is preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• No specific education or formal training required, but previous cash handling and/or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to Bank customers.
• Receive and pay out money, maintaining accurate records of transactions.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
• Buy and sell currency from the vault as necessary, ensuring cash limits are not exceeded.
• Understand and communicate the features and benefits of Bank products and services.
• Answer basic customer inquiries and cross-sell products when appropriate.
• Work effectively in a team-oriented environment and follow all bank policies and procedures.
• Utilize software applications to accomplish daily tasks with minimal errors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Benefits

• Starting rate of pay from $22.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
