About the position
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative who will play a crucial role in enhancing insurance client retention through exceptional service. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with their insurance carriers' requirements, advocating for them, and collaborating with our agents. Key responsibilities include providing expert guidance via phone, email, and text, ensuring accurate document delivery, maintaining organized notes, and effectively communicating our value proposition. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Prior customer service or advocacy experience is preferred, along with insurance knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Providing expert service and guidance to clients over phone, email, and text
- Ensuring correct documents are sent to clients based on their situation
- Completing tasks with organized notes and consistent processes
- Clearly articulating the Matic value proposition to clients
- Achieving team goals for productivity, quality, client satisfaction, and policy retention
- Offering other insurance products to clients where applicable
Requirements
- Effective communication skills especially over the phone
- Ability to understand a customer's situation and provide options towards resolution
- Tenacity and persuasiveness when it comes to doing what's right
- Self-motivated, willing to learn, and able to adapt quickly to change
- Ability to multitask as demonstrated by listening and responding to the customer while using a computer to research and enter information
- Passion that can convey the value of our Matic message clearly
- Customer service experience or experience as an advocate is highly preferred
- Insurance knowledge preferred
