About The Position

St. Joseph Health College Station Hospital strives to create a truly healing environment. With physicians in many disciplines, including cardiology, neurology, and orthopedics, patients receive advanced care from professionals they can count on. St. Joseph Health College Station Hospital is a 167-bed facility that offers a Level III Trauma unit. CRNA position working one 16hr overnight shift and two 12hr day shifts per week available at College Station Medical Center.

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed
