About The Position

Hudson Rouge (a VML company) is a luxury boutique marketing and communications agency that works solely on luxury brands and is the exclusive agency of record for the Lincoln Automotive business across all channels. We combine brand strategy, media strategy, activation, digital, social, earned media, production and analytics to provide exquisitely crafted creativity. We are a small group of people spread across several offices - New York, Detroit, Shanghai, Toronto, and Mexico City - and we care for each other as much as we care for our clients. Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of industry standard software/tools (Figma, Sketch, design systems, libraries) as it pertains to website platform.
  • Understanding of video and photo editing programs (Adobe).
  • Familiarity with common coding languages.
  • Familiarity with at least one prototyping tool (principle, framer, figma, protopie).
  • Thorough understanding of documentation, how to do it and why.
  • Thorough knowledge of UX writing and content strategy.
  • Outstanding portfolio showcasing highly conceptual abilities and high-end digital production experience necessary for luxury brands.
  • Desire and ability to work collaboratively with a small team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with automobile or luxury/premium brands is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Experience with mobile app design is a plus but not necessary.
  • A discerning eye to bring luxury brands to life visually.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding creative solutions that represent our Agency's brands effectively in the marketplace.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and growth of a strong, mutually profitable client/agency relationship.
  • Be an excellent graphic designer with solid fundamentals of typography, photography, color, and composition.
  • Execute against digital product design best practices including agile methodology, technical development, emerging web technologies, accessibility, and user pathing.
  • Present work and debate merits and drawbacks of various solutions comfortably.
  • Design beautiful experiences and create functional requirements for development.
  • Work conceptually with an integrated team, understanding how advertising, OLA, social, and other channels can work with the platform experience.
  • Ensure the quality of work produced is in line with agency and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with all departments in a mutually respectful manner.
  • Work on new business development and present pitches competently.
  • Guide the work while being integral in designing the experiences.
  • Maintain and support all company standards.
  • Be nimble and flexible, performing other related duties and projects as assigned.
