Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited educational program in Radiation Therapy
• 5 years clinical experience in Radiation Oncology AND 2 years supervisory experience in said specialty.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy - R.T. (R) (ARRT)
• Demonstrated ability to set priorities, coordinate diversified and multiple activities, and make appropriate clinical and managerial decisions.
• Must possess advanced problem solving skills.
• Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• Must be knowledgeable of all aspects of Radiation Oncology procedures.
• Ensures accuracy, attention to detail, ability to set priorities and to communicate well with all entities in Radiation Oncology.
• Must possess advanced problem solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
• Proficient in ARIA and Mosaiq software applications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day to day operation and supervision of radiation oncology services.
• Responsible for coordination of all radiation oncology services including but not limited to nursing, radiation therapy, dosimetry, simulation, and other functions.
• Is responsible for ensuring compliance with departmental operational through-put goals.
• Provides care and/or service to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
