Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Supervise employees by communicating regularly, motivating, training, evaluating, planning, and directing their work.
  • Oversee contractor activities on maintenance contracts to ensure adherence to contract documents and procedures.
  • Create, issue, and verify work documents for contractors, indicating work locations and pay item quantities.
  • Conduct field reviews with contractors as needed and coordinate maintenance activities of the chemical herbicide program.
  • Develop and prepare preliminary plans, specifications, estimates, and related contract documents for assigned contracts.
  • Conduct pre-work meetings to ensure contractors understand the scope of work and expected results.
  • Prepare contract renewal documents and correspondence necessary for contract management.
  • Verify invoices and generate pay estimates in Site Manager, entering data in the Maintenance Management System.
  • Complete Notice of Beginning and Ending letters and Contractor Field Performance Reports as directed.
  • Assist in performing work need surveys to gather information for maintenance contract work plans.
