About the position
We are looking for an exceptional Content strategist intern to join our growing team (Product-Led Growth). In this role, you will be creating engaging content for feature discovery, in-context guides, and education for Workato users. You will be joining a team that develops user experiences and user journeys. Engagement users through in-product guides, documentation, blog content and much more, to help customers grow from novice users to intermediate users to Workato gurus. The ideal candidate will have experience in building strategic content plans and analyzing user data, a keen eye for editing, strong knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and experience with industry tools such as WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush. This is a 6+ month internship, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent, full-time position depending on work performance.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging content for feature discovery, in-context guides, and education for Workato users
- Turn complex concepts into compelling messages for different channels and for designated audiences
- Develop and update content and set up the right channels to reach the audience
- Interpret different types of input, align with internal stakeholders and translate these insights into engaging content
- Focus on SEO and making content/keywords discoverable
- Develop a holistic understanding of all product education content that exists for Workato, and synthesize content insights, guiding principles, and best practices to drive content engagement and advocate for the best experience for users
- Identify gaps and opportunities in content through existing content performance, user research, and data from industry tools
- Develop optimization strategies that increase the Workato Product Hub website's search engine results rankings
- Create comprehensive reports on key findings and present these findings to the PLG team and relevant stakeholders from other teams
- Conduct regular content audits of existing content platforms (e.g. Product Hub, YouTube) to ensure that all published content is updated and SEO optimized.
Requirements
- Experience in building strategic content plans and analyzing user data
- Ability to distill complex analytical data into digestible findings and insights
- Keen eye for editing (making text shorter, friendlier, and easier to understand)
- Strong knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and experience in executing SEO strategy
- Background in technical SEO
- Experience with industry tools such as WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEMrush
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- Self-motivated and dedicated with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
- Experience handling complex, cross functional projects
- Excellent communication skills and strong ability to collaborate with others throughout the company, sometimes across international time zones
- Able to work independently and efficiently to hit short deadlines
- Comprehends and deals well with rapid changes and remains flexible and calm in times of uncertainty
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
