About The Position

As a Consultant, Business Consulting at Nationwide Financial, you will be part of a team that leads, organizes, develops, and delivers business frameworks to support the growth of the Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) segment. This role involves documenting competitive intelligence and managing pre-sale and point of sale opportunity processes. You will collaborate with various internal functions to support the PRT business and assist in developing strategies, managing internal constituents, and creating business cases. The position requires regular research on market activity and engagement with legal and compliance partners to ensure governance models comply with external and internal frameworks.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information, business, mathematics, or related field.
  • Eight plus years of experience in planning, designing, and implementing business transformation initiatives.
  • Extensive experience in functional, process, information and data modeling.
  • In-depth experience with process redesign methods and tools.
  • Three years of project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular research on PRT market activity and summarize key findings for leadership.
  • Assist in developing internal partnership strategies and identifying external target partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and distribution teams to optimize growth.
  • Develop partnership business cases and strategic reporting functions.
  • Assist in test & learn initiatives with potential partners.
  • Engage with Legal & Compliance to define and maintain contractual solutions.
  • Develop PRT collateral and internal business updates.
  • Participate in major process modeling, analysis, and design efforts.
  • Consult with functional groups to develop business transformation plans.
  • Lead training on business, technological, societal, and environmental trends.
