The Coworkers of Electric Operations ensure the delivery of safe and reliable electric service to our customers. Electric Operations is responsible for every aspect of PG&E's electric distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, asset management, business planning, restoration, and emergency response. System Inspection, Pole Test & Treat plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of California's electric service. We are responsible for intrusively inspecting, treating, and reinforcing distribution and transmission poles, ensuring compliance with CA laws and PG&E standards. Using cutting-edge technology, we contribute to the commitment to providing safe and uninterrupted access to electricity. Our department is dedicated to environmental responsibility and safety, making it an essential component of our commitment to delivering quality service to our customers. This position is hybrid; you will be required to come into the office once/week (subject to change). Headquarter location is flexible within PG&E service territory. The Construction Manager will be responsible for the execution on the Pole Reinforcement Program, System Inspections. The Construction Manager supports contract adherence, consults on program feasibility and project site details, coordinates with construction crews, oversees project inspectors, and on a project specific basis performs construction oversight. The incumbent may also prepare job packages and construction estimates, conduct job walks, and meet with bidders, contractors, and governing agencies. The Construction Manager ensures projects are completed per company standards, engineering design, regulatory guidelines, permits and schedule.
