About The Position

The Completions Work Planner at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is responsible for leading the daily activities of a Completions shop, ensuring that work loads are planned and scheduled effectively. This role involves coordinating manpower and materials to meet workflow targets while supporting the company's goals and policies. The position requires compliance with safety and quality standards, as well as the ability to assist in continuous improvement initiatives within the shop.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of previous aircraft experience in a specific discipline (e.g., upholstery for the Trim Shop).
• Airframe and/or Powerplant License or Repairman Certificate is required.
• Proficient in artisan skills within the department.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Gulfstream completions interior experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of the Completions shop.
• Plan and schedule workloads to support workflow targets.
• Ensure timely completion of department work while meeting quality and quantity requirements.
• Support corporate safety, FOD, and 5S programs.
• Update and maintain Job Safe Analyst Cards on assigned equipment.
• Ensure all required paperwork and documentation are completed accurately.
• Conduct weekly safety audits and assist team members in safety audits.
• Lead or serve on Lean and Quality Improvement teams.
• Maintain shop equipment and associated Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
• Champion safety and housekeeping policies within the shop.
• Continuously improve existing processes and procedures using Lean Manufacturing tools.
