About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Analyst 2 to join our Compensation Analysis Center of Excellence (COE). This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate, competitive, and equitable pay for our largest employee population. As a key member of our High-Volume Pod, you will collaborate closely with Compensation Consultants to support compensation strategies across our Stores, Supply Chain, Operations, and Restaurant teams. Your work will directly impact the compensation experience of our frontline employees—the individuals who deliver exceptional service to our customers every day.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in compensation, accounting, finance or similar analytic roles
  • 1+ years of compensation experience required
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel - able to create advanced formulas, pivot tables and macros
  • Ability to share data analysis and conclusions in a way that is easily understood
  • Organized approach to tracking and delivering on multiple concurrent priorities
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within the team and across functional teams
  • Basic knowledge of technical and legal aspects of compensation including variable and incentive compensation
  • Ability to deliver accurate and complete work in a timely manner
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally and respectfully
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Workday a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Compensation Consultants to perform client-based project work
  • Conduct job analysis and articulate recommendations and rationale for new and existing jobs
  • Support market analysis by matching jobs, assisting with annual survey participation and summarizing survey results for review by HR leaders
  • Execute pay structure and individual pay changes related to minimum wage and minimum salary increases
  • Administer incentive programs for annual bonus, quarterly bonus, commissions, and productivity incentives
  • Maintain job and compensation-related data by creating job governance materials, submitting requests to create or modify jobs, maintaining location details, minimum wage and minimum salary requirements by location
  • Create and update client-facing compensation tools and user instructions
  • Produce and distribute compensation-related reporting and audits
  • Support annual compensation review process in Workday by participating in planning, completing audits and creating reports
  • Create and maintain process documentation and workflows, streamlining processes where possible
  • Maintain and publish plan documents for compensation programs
