About The Position

The Community Manager at PBM is responsible for overseeing operations for homeowners' associations (HOAs) and condominium communities in Tampa Bay. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of Florida's Condominium Statutes, who can provide reliable support to boards and residents while ensuring compliance with governing documents. The position emphasizes a people-first approach and involves various responsibilities, including financial oversight, record management, and facilitating effective board meetings.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Florida's Condominium Statutes and community governing documents.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Proficient in financial oversight and reporting.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with boards and residents.

Responsibilities

• Guide Board Compliance and Knowledge by staying current on Florida Condominium Statutes and ensuring all Association operations align with these regulations.
• Hold weekly check-ins with the Board President to review current projects and upcoming priorities.
• Track and update the Board on critical dates, including contract expirations and insurance maturities, while maintaining organized records.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for the Board and oversee payables, reserve investments, and annual budgets.
• Draft agendas and prepare Board packets for meetings, ensuring compliance with Florida statutes and delivering updates on projects.
• Advise the Board on actions regarding delinquent accounts and provide monthly updates on their status.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls to ensure resident support and security.
• Conduct property inspections and manage vendor relationships, ensuring contracts are fulfilled and projects are communicated effectively.
• Address resident issues with empathy and enforce community policies as needed.
