About The Position

The Commercial Security Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and servicing a variety of security equipment in commercial settings. This role involves managing a service call schedule, addressing an average of four tickets per day, and utilizing a company vehicle for travel to job sites. The technician must possess a strong understanding of security systems and equipment, ensuring effective installation and maintenance to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security service and installation.
• Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving security equipment.
• Knowledge of various security systems including Alarm.com, DMP, DSC, and Honeywell.
• Familiarity with low voltage cabling (Cat5, Cat6) and electrical systems.
• Ability to manage a work schedule efficiently.

• Experience working in new construction and occupied commercial buildings.
• Customer service orientation and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and manage service call schedule, typically handling an average of 4 tickets per day.
• Troubleshoot and solve issues related to various security equipment including Alarm.com, DMP, DSC, and others.
• Install and maintain security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
• Provide customer support and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Work efficiently in both new construction and occupied commercial buildings.
