About The Position

The Integration Engineer at Comcast is responsible for providing technical expertise in project teams, troubleshooting operational issues, and implementing technical solutions for operational problems. This role involves maintaining and supporting the infrastructure that underpins Comcast's products and services, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure. The engineer will act as a subject matter expert in designing and optimizing infrastructure, contributing to configuration management, and providing technical leadership to junior engineers and project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5+ years overall DevOps Engineering experience.
• 3+ years experience with various AWS Services.
• 3+ years experience with CI/CD Automation, IAM, and AWS CloudFormation.
• Programming experience in Python, NodeJS, or Bash (Python preferred).
• Knowledge of Cloud Architecture and monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Grafana.
• Experience with Networking (OSI, TCP/IP) and Security (OWASP Top 10).

Responsibilities

• Apply technical expertise in configuration management tools and logging technologies.
• Design and implement robust infrastructure for Comcast products.
• Contribute configuration management code and documentation for secure infrastructure.
• Identify gaps and improve the existing security platform.
• Implement monitoring and alarming to measure infrastructure effectiveness.
• Deploy updates and fixes, providing Level 2 technical support.
• Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues.
• Develop scripts to automate visualization and design procedures for system troubleshooting.
