About the position
The job overview for the ColorPop Books Growth Marketing Manager position is to drive grassroots marketing and customer acquisition, define and execute marketing opportunities to generate brand awareness and acquire new customers, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, drive data analyses and own conversion metrics, and report findings to different audiences within the organization to drive alignment on key decisions. The ideal candidate should be passionate about equitable access to quality education, comfortable engaging in conversations about race and equity, scrappy and resourceful, experienced in building relationships, and organized and reflective.
Responsibilities
- Drive grassroots marketing and customer acquisition
- Identify hypotheses for driving sales and attracting parents who want to affirm their kids' identities through books and build empathy
- Define marketing opportunities to test these hypotheses and execute each opportunity
- Work with the Product Owner and Marketing Lead to develop a strategy across marketing channels
- Conduct data analyses and track conversion metrics
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers
- Report findings to different audiences within the organization and align on key decisions
