About The Position

The CNC Programmer will be responsible for programming 5-axis CNC milling machines, assisting with the installation and setup of new equipment, and ensuring proper maintenance and repair. This role also involves spearheading continuous improvement processes and working on new product prove-out, making it essential for candidates to have a strong background in CNC programming and MasterCam software.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE background in 5-axis milling machines
• MUST BE proficient with MasterCam software
• 5-10 years of related experience and/or training
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows
• Able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Responsibilities

• CAD/CAM programming
• Machine installation and set-up
• Monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
• New product prove-out
• Fixture design and development
• Assist with cycle time quoting and product planning
• Create project timelines
• Perform all quality requirements including GD&T
• Ongoing lean activities and continuous improvement efforts
• Training support
