About The Position

Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge in operating machines with coaching.
  • Understanding of safety and quality standards for operating machines.
  • Ability to read and write, and fluently conversant in the language of communication as appropriate to the site.
  • Ability to collaborate well in a diverse work environment.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and work on concrete floors.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and bend.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain equipment to deliver on safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets.
  • Execute all standard work processes on equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards.
  • Ensure that safety processes are observed and that quality assurance activities are performed.
  • Understand the losses in the area and equipment and report them.
  • Perform routine maintenance on processing equipment.
  • Ensure that the highest possible quality bars are prepared for consumer consumption.
  • Participate as a member of the production team and perform all tasks necessary to contribute to a successful team.
  • Clean and maintain equipment while following all Good Manufacturing Practice principles.
