About the position
Rimes is currently experiencing a period of growth and is seeking individuals to join their team in various roles across Sales, Product, Development, Marketing, and other functions. One of the key areas they are hiring for is Client Services, which plays a crucial role in managing the delivery of financial data to over 350 clients worldwide. The Client Services team is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of data feeds, handling client queries and escalations, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. They work closely with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide tailored solutions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of 60000+ data feeds daily
- Proactively monitor exceptions based on timeliness and quality of data
- Manage client's ever-changing priorities and corresponding queries
- Handle complex escalation from the first line group
- Manage change projects that impact all clients globally
- Own the technical relationship with the client
- Ensure the client's service operates within a set of KPI's
- Make suitable adjustments to ensure the service continues to meet KPI's
- Work with clients to adapt services received in line with industry requirements
- Provide regular service reviews with clients
- Reinforce value proposition, provide industry insight, and uncover further opportunities to solve client's challenges

- Previous work experience in the financial data industry
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- Graduate calibre, preferably in finance or a related field
- Experience working with and manipulating large datasets
- Proficiency with MS Excel
- Fluency in both English and Japanese
- Knowledge of Python (useful)
- Knowledge and understanding of equity and fixed income indices (useful)
