About The Position

Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III - Structure & Bridge Design candidate for our Richmond, VA office location. The position involves performing routine and complex design of steel piles and steel connections, as well as cast-in-place concrete slabs. The candidate should have an understanding of general renewable energy nomenclature and assist with the development of scope, schedule, and budgets for projects. Additionally, the role includes assisting with the management of projects and tasks, as well as marketing and proposal development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required, Master’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of structure and/or bridge design experience required.
• PE License is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in structural design software packages, specifically LPile, Mathcad, Excel.
• Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD for plan development.
• Proficiency with Excel/AutoCAD interoperability to create pile plot plans.
