About The Position

Eastern Underwriting Center is seeking a Program Underwriting Associate for Commercial Insurance. The Underwriting Associate contributes to the achievement of corporate goals relating to growth, profit, renewal retention, service, and producer/client management.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and analyzing account information (loss information, driver information, financials, loss control reports, etc.) and developing underwriting recommendations and pricing strategy
• Coordinating account processing for renewals with underwriter and customer service representative
• Providing rating and issuance instructions including appropriate forms, coverages, and final premium
• Reviewing submission information with underwriter and preparing quote letter
• Documenting underwriting analysis information in the electronic file; ensuring electronic file integrity
• Adhering to state regulated compliance requirements and working to resolve issues
• Processing endorsements within designated authority
