About The Position

The position involves leading a team of software engineers to design, develop, and deliver software solutions. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful project delivery. The candidate will provide mentorship and guidance to team members for professional development, conducting regular one-on-one meetings and performance assessments. Additionally, the role includes contributing to the execution of the software engineering strategy, supporting the alignment of technology with business goals, and leading agile development processes, managing sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives. The candidate will also collaborate with architects and senior engineers to ensure high-quality code and design, monitor project progress, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as Chorus BPM® (AWD) Process designer in Life insurance Domain.
  • Ability to understand and rearchitect tightly coupled/integrated systems.
  • Strong skills in technical architecture, project management, and organizational change.
  • Strong problem solving/critical thinking skills to support best practices for standard business process design.
  • Strong knowledge of systems methodology, project management, quality assurance, and testing methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of Business Process Modeling techniques and tools.
  • Basic understanding of Stored Procedures (SQL scripts); web services (SOAP and RESTful).
  • Basic understanding of LDAP/Active Directory application integration.
  • Experience working with OS365 integration.
  • DMN (Decision Model and Notation) or BPMN such as DROOLS experience a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong skills in data administration, design, and architecture.
  • Good leadership to provide guidance to less experienced personnel.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications or training a plus.
