Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in childcare or a related field is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation (personal vehicle), active license, and current auto insurance.
• Must have current vaccinations (MMR, HEP B, Tdap, Varicella) and TB test within the last year.
• Must have flu vaccination completed annually.
• Must pass DOJ/FBI live scan background clearance.
• Must provide proof of physical capability including the ability to sit, stand, bend, squat, twist and lift 50 pounds.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion to work with children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
• Create and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs that stimulate children's physical, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive development.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to children as needed.
• Potential need to change diapers or assist with toilet training along with maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
• Maintain accurate records of children's daily routines, health, and milestones.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless childcare experience.
