About The Position

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a BE/BC fellowship trained Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our PHP/IOP program located in Wheaton, IL, in the western suburbs of Chicago. Conveniently located 30 miles west of Chicago, the community is exceptional with excellent schools, parks, restaurants, and plenty of amenities. Easy access to Chicago by car or commuter train. Program comprised of a multidisciplinary team of therapists and social workers who provide high quality care. Daily in-person care of Child & Adolescent patients in PHP/IOP Opportunity to develop and enhance mental health initiatives, contributing to process improvements and patient flow Leading experienced clinical teams Conducting psychiatric evaluations Establishing diagnoses, prescribing medication Engaging with family Employed full-time position with Northwestern Medicine Successful and expanding multi-specialty physician group that promotes a collegial work environment, physician success and compassionate care EPIC electronic health record system wide Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in partnership with Lurie Children’s Hospital offers a comprehensive pediatric specialty care program including a Pediatric Emergency Department, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, General Pediatrics Unit and a large Pediatric Ambulatory Care Center.
