About The Position

We are seeking an experienced CDP Manager with a specialization in Customer Data Management to join our Fortune 100 financial services client's MarTech organization. This role is ideal for a hands-on expert in Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) who can manage, optimize, and leverage CDP functionalities to enhance data-driven marketing strategies. The CDP Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration, improve customer segmentation, and drive personalized marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) in a power-user, manager, or administrator role.
  • Strong understanding of customer data management, audience segmentation, identity resolution, and activation strategies.
  • Experience managing data flows, integrations, and governance within a CDP ecosystem.
  • In-depth knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and their impact on customer data usage.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) or similar CDP platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to train and guide cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Financial services experience, preferably within the credit card space.
  • Experience working with MarTech tools and integrations, including CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary power user and administrator of the Customer Data Platform (CDP), ensuring optimal configuration and utilization of its features.
  • Oversee data ingestion, audience segmentation, identity resolution, and activation workflows within the CDP to support marketing and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with MarTech, analytics, and digital marketing teams to define and implement data-driven strategies for personalized customer experiences.
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance with privacy regulations (i.e., GDPR, CCPA) and internal security policies.
  • Provide hands-on support for data modeling, customer journey orchestration, and campaign execution using the CDP.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data flows, integrations, and platform performance.
  • Act as the internal CDP subject matter expert (SME), training and supporting teams to maximize adoption and efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze CDP performance metrics to optimize audience targeting, segmentation accuracy, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Stay up to date on CDP best practices, vendor updates, and emerging trends to recommend enhancements and improvements.
