Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess valid Class A CDL with Air brakes and combo endorsements.
• Minimum two (2) years proven driving experience at CDL level.
• Minimum two (2) years proven experience assembling/disassembling and moving machinery utilizing forklifts, gantries, cranes, skates, and jacks.
• Basic knowledge of operating equipment (Forklifts, man lifts, mobile platform lifts, etc.).
• Experienced knowledge of load securement and safe hauling practices.
• Ability to use general construction tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safe handling of loads, securement of loads, loading and unloading of equipment.
• Signal or perform actions as directed related to hoisting and moving loads.
• At the direction of lead rigger/foreman, attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools.
• Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces, using forklifts and dollies.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery.
• Manipulate rigging lines, hoists, and pulling gear to move or support materials such as heavy equipment.
• Effectively assemble/disassemble and move machinery utilizing forklifts, gantries, cranes, skates, and jacks.
• Operate vehicles, mechanized devices, or equipment, such as forklifts and mobile elevated work platforms.
• Drive safely and under DOT regulations tractor & trailer rigs to transport equipment and crews to job sites.
• Routinely haul over-dimensional loads.
