About The Position

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking full-time Highway Concrete Technicians, specifically a CDL A driver to travel and perform concrete repair and maintenance operations in the Texas area during the night shift. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to driving across the state of Texas, highway concrete repair/maintenance, guardrail, and drainage and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures. Highway Technicians will be based out of the Grand Prairie, TX yard and require the ability to travel at least 75% of the time within the US, mostly within TX but quarterly to CO.

Requirements

• CDL A license is required.
• Minimum 3 years of concrete forming/repair experience.
• Roadway maintenance experience.
• Exposure to using shovels, weed trimming machinery, brooms, & various small hand tools.
• MOT (Traffic control certifications/courses).
• Experience operating Wheel Loader, Skidsteer, Fork Lift, Asphalt Roller, etc.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with air compressor operations.
• Experience in guardrail and sign installation.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish (read/write) preferred but not required.
• Clean driving record is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete repair and maintenance operations in the Texas area during the night shift.
