About The Position

The Caregiver position at Companions & Homemakers involves providing in-home care to seniors, ensuring their independence, health, safety, and happiness. Caregivers will implement customized care plans and deliver compassionate support to enhance the quality of life for their clients.

Requirements

• Dependable and compassionate demeanor.

• Experience in personal care assistance, memory care, or Hoyer experience is preferred.

• Experience as a PCA, HHA, or CNA.
• Flexibility in scheduling and availability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care to clients in their homes.
• Execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans.
• Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Provide personal companionship and ongoing social & emotional support.
• Assist with personal care activities such as hygiene, mobility, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding, and meal preparation.
• Maintain order, safety, and client enjoyment at all times.
• Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed.
• Document completion of tasks and report changes in the client's condition.
