The Manager Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab is responsible and accountable for both the clinical quality and financial viability of the cardiac and pulmonary rehab program. Works in collaboration with the director Operations to align the cardiac and pulmonary continuum of care for patients.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Exercise physiology, Exercise Science, Respiratory therapy, Nursing, or related field of study
• 2 years of experience working within a cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation setting
• BLS - American Heart Association
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Saving Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory oversight for patient care and administrative functions in cardiac and pulmonary rehab departments
• Collaborate with physician leaders in a dyad relationship
• Develop and coordinate quality improvement initiatives
• Support program expansion and enhance patient throughput
• Create and maintain departmental procedures and standard workflows
• Offer operational support and supervision to team members
• Foster interdepartmental relationships and teamwork
• Manage departmental resources and operational budget effectively
• Drive customer service efforts and patient experience improvements
• Participate in teaching and learning opportunities
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and policy standards
• Coordinate emergency training and core competency development for staff
• Manage schedules, timekeeping, and approvals
• Serve as a cardiovascular spokesperson for community education programs
