About The Position

The Technology and Integration Specialist at HNTB plays a crucial role in the Design Build Organization, applying senior-level technical expertise to support project teams across the nation. This position focuses on developing integrated design deliverables for complex transportation engineering projects, ensuring quality, timely, and budget-conscious delivery. The Specialist will lead project production on significant projects, coordinate with various teams, and share best practices to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related field and 10 years of relevant experience, or
• Associate of Science in Drafting or Technical School or related and 12 years of relevant experience, or
• In lieu education, 14 years of relevant experience.

• Design Build project leadership experience on major highway, bridge, airport or transit projects.
• Experience with the Bentley suite of applications including but not limited to Projectwise, Bentley InRoads, OpenRoads, and OpenRoads Designer.
• Working knowledge of AutoDesk design products which may include AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoDesk Construction Cloud, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Ability to progress multiple tasks at the same time on accelerated schedules.
• Strong communication and oral presentation skills across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes as technical resource in project meetings and project design for area of specialty.
• Researches best practices and maintains outside contact with other specialists.
• Acts as an internal and external point-of-contact for specialty area(s).
• Develops and advises others in related subject matter.
• Prepares technical presentations, reports, and analysis in area of specialty.
• Interacts regularly with clients at the staff level.
• May perform technical reviews for other projects in area of specialty.
• May be responsible for leading the work of a project team in area of specialty and coordinating work with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
