About the position
Sysdig is seeking a candidate for a value engineering or value consulting role in the software industry, specifically in the Cloud Security industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating compelling business value narratives, collaborating with the sales team to understand customer needs and align solutions, providing training and guidance to the sales team, and staying up-to-date with industry trends. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in the software industry, 2 years of experience in a value engineering or value consulting role, and a strong alignment with Sysdig values. Travel may be required for client support.
Responsibilities
- Create compelling business value narratives, presentations, and collateral to articulate and quantify the ROI and value proposition of the company's offerings.
- Collaborate with the EMEA sales team to understand customer needs, pain points, and business objectives, and align cybersecurity solutions to address those needs.
- Provide training and guidance to the EMEA sales and presales team on effectively articulating the business value of the company's solutions and enabling them to sell the offerings.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and competitive offerings in the cybersecurity space to enhance knowledge and expertise.
- Have 5+ years of experience in the software industry, preferably in the Cloud Security industry.
- Have 2+ years of experience in a value engineering or value consulting role.

- Willingness to travel to clients to support sales opportunities if required.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
