About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst with extensive Air Force maintenance operations and experience supporting the Reliability & Maintainability Information System (REMIS). This role will lead process improvement, requirements gathering, and data analysis activities while collaborating with stakeholders to optimize decision-making and operational efficiency. Strong communication and analytical skills and expertise in electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming are essential. Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or Air Force maintenance operations.
• Deep understanding of Air Force maintenance procedures, logistics, and REMIS functionality.
• Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and business intelligence platforms.
• Strong knowledge of electronic data processing, systems analysis, and computer programming.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, Zephyr, Bitbucket, and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives within Air Force maintenance or defense-related environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders to define business needs related to Air Force maintenance operations and REMIS.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for process improvement within maintenance operations.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions that provide actionable insights for leadership.
• Collaborate with IT teams and Air Force personnel to enhance REMIS data integration, reporting, and system functionality.
• Ensure data integrity, validation, and compliance with Air Force maintenance policies and procedures.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and end-users, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of REMIS-based business intelligence solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users on data-driven decision-making and BI tools.
