Business Intelligence Analyst

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting business intelligence solutions. They will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements, develop strategies, and create metrics, reports, and analyses to drive key business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to conduct deep-dive data analysis, and expertise in statistical methodology and programming. The Business Intelligence Analyst will also be responsible for ensuring data quality, documenting models and solutions, and training users to transform data into actionable information.

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with business leaders to determine business requirements, priorities, and define key performance indicators (KPI)
• Design and develop BI and analytical strategies to address business needs
• Develop metrics, reports, and analyses from various internal endpoint platforms to drive key business decisions
• Support business users by answering complex business questions through visualizations and ad-hoc queries
• Conduct deep-dive data analysis for business insights and recommendations
• Support the BI team in developing and testing hypotheses
• Combine statistical methodology and analysis with programming skills for complex analyses
• Investigate KPI variance and automate solutions to diagnose changes in metrics
• Contribute to data aggregation strategy for reporting, dashboards, and self-service analytics
• Document new and existing models, solutions, and implementations
• Train and assist users in transforming data into actionable information
• Extend metadata, such as source-to-target field mappings and known data limitations
• Ensure data collected meets required quality standards and actively track data quality issues
• Audit data sources, understand data dependencies, identify data gaps, and propose system changes

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related technical field (Master's degree a plus)
• 2-4 years of experience
• Experience in front-end design, implementation, and support of business intelligence solutions
• Experience working with business users, corporate technology (IT), product development, product strategy, and data engineers
• Ability to lead requirements gathering sessions with business leaders
• Strong knowledge of key performance indicators (KPI) and ability to design and develop BI and analytical strategies
• Proficiency in developing metrics, reports, and analyses from various internal endpoint platforms
• Ability to answer complex business questions through visualizations and ad-hoc queries
