About the position
The job overview for this role is to drive net new logos and pipeline by partnering with Sales & Marketing to generate high-quality leads for Account Executives. The focus is on conducting outbound prospecting activities, engaging with leads, building relationships, and aligning with the marketing team. The role also involves tracking and reporting key performance metrics, staying up to date with industry trends, and continuously improving sales strategies. The ideal candidate should have sales experience, a growth mindset, strong communication skills, and a proactive and motivated attitude.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities, such as cold calling, email outreach, and social selling, to generate new leads
- Research and identify potential prospects within the target market to generate pipeline
- Engage with inbound and outbound leads to assess their fit for Loom and qualify them as opportunities
- Conduct initial discovery calls or meetings to gather information and understand pain points
- Build relationships with leads through regular follow-up and communication
- Work closely with the marketing team to align lead generation efforts and provide feedback on marketing campaigns
- Track and manage leads in Salesforce, record interactions, and maintain accurate information
- Stay up to date with industry trends and Loom's product offering
- Provide support to the sales team with administrative tasks and sales collateral preparation
- Stay current with sales techniques and industry best practices
- Build targeted account and contact lists to support new market entry, events, and campaigns
- Seek feedback, put coaching into practice, and share ideas with the team
- Track and report key performance metrics and contribute to sales forecasting and planning
- Identify outbound plays based on product signals and help build the outbound playbook
- Develop strong product knowledge and become an expert in Loom's selling motion.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in SaaS
- Active interest in increasing customer happiness and deepening customer relationships
- Growth mindset and consistent track record of overachieving
- Articulate and poised with clear spoken and written communication style
