About The Position

As a Bus Driver at Enchanted Care, you will provide safe transportation by driving a school bus or passenger van to and from our school facility while adhering to driving regulations and providing a safe vehicle. Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school, and the collective/individual interest of its staff and student body.

Requirements

• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED AND at least two years of experience with children.
• Complies with all company and state-specific standards and maintains validation of required credentials for the position including a Commercial Drivers License with valid passenger and school bus endorsements.
• Ability to successfully pass state and federal background check.
• Maintain driving record acceptable to Spring Education Group.
• Must be able to carry or lift 25 pounds or less (25-50%) often and 25-50 pounds (10-25%) occasionally.

• Provide a safe vehicle by observing visual defects and checking operating systems using a monthly bus safety checklist.
• Communicate respectfully with children directly, in child-friendly tones, and on their level while teaching them vehicle safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with a talented team of diverse educators and administrators.
• Develop and maintain interpersonal relationships with the families, students, and school community.
