About The Position

The Assistant Vice President role within Aon Commercial Risk Solutions' Financial Services Group is a strategic broker position responsible for developing and implementing risk management solutions for large, global clients. This hybrid role allows for flexibility in working both virtually and from the Boston office, focusing on assessing client needs, negotiating with insurance carriers, and managing insurance programs across various industry sectors.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in brokering, underwriting, or relevant executive liability roles.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Property & Casualty license required within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and craft tailored risk management solutions.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers to secure optimal coverage for clients.
• Analyze and present complex insurance contract concepts to clients.
• Communicate renewal strategies and results, including market dynamics and litigation trends.
• Utilize technical skills for client analysis and insurance program diagnostics.
• Maintain effective relationships with external client contacts and internal Aon teams.
• Develop and deliver presentations for clients and prospects alongside senior team members.
• Leverage underwriter relationships to enhance broking results.
• Engage with Aon FSG claims and legal advocacy groups for claim administration.
• Provide support to senior team members and ensure timely responses to clients.
